Systems Analyst II

Information Technology positions must meet Criminal Justice Information System requirements; candidates will undergo a stringent criminal history review. Systems Analyst II role supports enterprise systems (payroll, timekeeping, FOIA Management). Serves as the HRIS team lead, providing technical leadership and project oversight, managing staff, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery. Responsibilities Implement, administer, and support enterprise systems. Work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to define business processes. Gather requirements and deliver effective system solutions. Lead projects and manage staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Minimum of three years full‑time equivalent experience in relevant IT roles. Meet CJIS policy requirements for access to the Virginia Criminal Information Network. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Munis or similar HR/Payroll systems. Experience with UKG/Kronos or similar timekeeping systems. Experience supporting JustFOIA or similar FOIA management software. Proficient in writing SQL queries and developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Supervisory experience and team leadership. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
