Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs Contract

Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing and assisting in ultrasound examinations, providing technical support to the Radiologist, and ensuring the proper maintenance and care of ultrasound equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of office and administrative practices.
• Skill in using personal computers and software.
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Additional Information:

• Responsibilities include preparing patients for ultrasound examinations, operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, capturing images onto PACS, and assisting in the orientation of new personnel.
• May involve scheduling examinations and coordinating patient transportation.
