Quality Assurance Specialist

Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Specialists work with Plant Management to inspect all products (can liners and their respective packaging) to ensure the final product is consistent to Novolex's Company's established quality standards, customer specifications and production goals.Compensation: $17.00 an hourShift Availability: Days 12 hour shifts 2-2-3 scheduleKnowledge, Skills and Experience:High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.Able to effectively communicate.Ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environmentPhysical Requirements and Work EnvironmentManufacturing work environment.Constant physical activities are required for this position.Such activities include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes of 60 lbs or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.
