Clinical Research Coordinator III

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator III to oversee clinical operations at a research site, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing study protocols, training staff, and coordinating between sponsors and the site to support successful trial execution and patient enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical studies in accordance with FDA/GCP and ICH regulations and guidelines
• Schedule subject visits, perform assessments including vital signs and blood draws, and record patient data per protocol
• Ensure IRB approval and compliance throughout study lifecycle; report suspected non-compliance
• Monitor participant safety, assess adverse events, and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders
• Serve as primary sponsor contact, back-up site manager, and mentor new team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
• BLS certificate required
• 5+ years of comparable clinical research experience
• Thorough understanding of GCP, SOPs, informed consent, and safety monitoring
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and strong English communication skills
• Demonstrated sound judgment and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
