Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, either through teletherapy sessions or in community outreach settings. \n
- Conduct brief, evidence-based assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, and develop integrated care plans that outline specific therapeutic strategies and linked services. \n
- Assist clients in crisis interventions and provide timely responses to urgent mental health situations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. \n
- Implement best practices for documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards. \n
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery, share insights, and optimize client outcomes. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development to improve therapeutic techniques and stay abreast of best practices in social work and mental health. \n
- Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adapt treatment plans as necessary to align with client goals and needs. \n
- Participate in team meetings and committees to contribute to service improvement initiatives and continuous quality enhancement within the organization. \n
- Assist with the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they understand the treatment options available and the services we provide. \n
You will primarily work with clients in a detox center setting who are experiencing complex and challenging mental health issues. This includes individuals dealing with substance abuse disorders alongside emotional and psychological distress. Your role is critical to fostering a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and empowered to make lasting changes in their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred and enhances the candidate’s profile. \n
- Must hold a current and valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey. \n
- Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with diverse populations, particularly in mental health settings. \n
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize client information and develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments. \n
