Locum Tenens: CRNA Locum in Western NC | No Call

A leading hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, has an opening for a CRNA to assist their team.

Target Start Date: 5/1/2023

Target End Date: TBD

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts (8 & 12-hrs available)
• No call or nights, minimal weekends
• Case mix: General, ortho, endo, urology, GYN, robotics, neuro/spine, and very little peds
• EMR: Cerner & AIMS
• Care team model
• Must be board-certified

QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA North Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of Cerner experience
• Board Certified

• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

Requirements:
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
