Production Supervisor

Logitech Supervisor RolePremier Logitech is filling a Supervisor type role in its Coppell, TX location. This position empowers the success of forward logistics teams. Provides oversight and leadership to ensure KPIs, customer expectations and requirements are met or exceeded. Spends approximately 80 percent of time with production employees on the floor to accomplish deliverables. This position is 100% onsite. Successful candidates will have production or warehouse experience, minimum of 1 to 2 years supervising hourly employees.Essential Responsibilities:Monitors productivity of personnel to ensure outlined goal and targets are met.Assists in monitoring inventory levels and available materials to support production and report shortages immediately to Manager.Monitor of assigned teams, ensuring accurate time reporting and addresses inefficiencies or misuse of time.Reports workplace or equipment issues as needed to the Manager.Trains and cross-trains personnel to provide areas of growth and advancement.Attends periodic meetings with Managers as needed.Motivates and instructs Teams daily.Meets Production goals daily.Completes performance metrics/KPI reports including any additional reporting metrics as required.Leads special projects as assigned.Ensures continuous product flow in area.Escalates daily headcount needs to Manager to ensure daily and weekly goals are met without waste.Addresses misconduct and ensures Company policies and procedures are followed.Coaches and counsels for improvements and to alleviate deficiencies.Engages Manager and Human Resources as necessary.Resolves issues and escalates complex issues to the correct teams.Aligns team in support of high standards for quality, safety and security.Looks for ways to continuously improve processes and escalates to the Manager for approval.Collaborates with other departments to resolve production issues.Ensures equipment and line setup is completed timely to set the Team up for success daily.Conducts start of day/end of day meetings with assigned teams.Conducts personnel performance reviews as necessary.Works with internal and external partners/vendors to ensure materials are available for production as needed.Demonstrates professionalism in conduct and presentation.
