Project Manager - Public Works

Streets, parkways, and CIP improvements for California cities. That's what we do and we do it well. We're growing and we need an experienced PE to join us as a Project Manager. This is a full project ownership role. You'll manage roadway and public works projects from kickoff through construction, own client relationships directly with city engineers and public works directors, and lead a team of engineers and designers. You'll be the person your clients call when something needs to get done. What you'll do: Manage CIP street, roadway, and parkway improvement projects from kickoff through construction Own client relationships with city engineers and public works directors Lead design production in Civil 3D and oversee technical quality Manage project schedules, budgets, and team assignments Review submittals, RFI responses, and technical specifications Coordinate with Caltrans and local agencies Mentor junior engineers and contribute to firm growth Lead and support proposal efforts and RFP responses You are the right fit if: You're a licensed PE in California with 10+ years of experience in civil engineering You've managed street, roadway, or parkway projects for a city or public agency You're proficient in Civil 3D and know Caltrans standards, the Greenbook, and local agency requirements You're comfortable owning client relationships and being the face of a project You want to build a career at a firm where your name actually means something What we offer: $185K+ depending on experience 36-hour work week with Fridays off every week Hybrid schedule with Thursdays from home 3% 401(k) employer contribution from day one Full medical, dental, and vision paid for you A firm small enough that your work matters To apply: Visit oe-eng.com/project-manager-pm or send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Onward Engineering
