$135k - $188kDAT
About DAT DAT is an award-winning employer of choice and a next-generation SaaS technology company that has been at the leading edge of innovation in transportation supply chain logistics for 45 years. We continue to transform the industry year over year, by deploying a suite of software solutions to millions of customers every day - customers who depend on DAT for the most relevant data and most accurate insights to help them make smarter business decisions and run their companies more profitably. We operate the largest marketplace of its kind in North America, with 400 million freights posted in 2022, and a database of $150 billion of annual global shipment market transaction data. Our headquarters are in Denver, CO, and Beaverton, OR, with additional offices in Seattle, WA; Springfield, MO; and Bangalore, India. For additional information, see Job Application Deadline: 6/1/2026 The Opportunity We're looking for a Product Manager who is energized by ambiguity, ownership, and impact. In this role, you'll drive growth and monetization across Outgo's core Fintech platform spanning invoicing, factoring, and banking, while also influencing how we acquire, activate, and retain customers at scale. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, design, and go-to-market, and you'll have the rare advantage of building within a startup while leveraging DAT's extensive carrier network and infrastructure. This is a high-ownership IC role with real surface area. You won't be handed a tidy product area; you'll help build it. What You'll Do Option 1: Fintech Platform Focus Contribute to and shape the product roadmap for Outgo's core financial platform, including invoicing, factoring, and banking, driving improvements that make the product faster, smarter, and more valuable for carriers & operations Lead end-to-end feature development in partnership with engineering and design, from discovery and scoping through launch and iteration Develop a deep understanding of our carriers' financial workflows and pain points through customer interviews, data analysis, and hands-on research Drive platform and integration initiatives that increase reliability, expand capabilities, and position Outgo as the financial operating system for carriers Partner with internal teams including risk and underwriting, sales, support, and operations to identify workflow inefficiencies and build tooling that improves how our team serves customers Champion operational efficiency across the platform, identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to reduce manual work, improve decision-making speed, and scale our operations without scaling headcount Define and track the metrics that reflect platform health and customer value, using data to inform what to build next Collaborate with Customer Success and Operations to close the loop between customer feedback and product decisions Proactively identify gaps and opportunities across the product and do something about them without waiting to be asked What We're Looking For 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of growth, monetization, or core product areas A self-starter mindset; you're comfortable operating with ambiguity, setting your own direction, and driving initiatives to completion Strong analytical skills; you're fluent in data and use it to inform prioritization, measure impact, and tell a clear story to stakeholders Experience working in or alongside a small, fast-moving team where execution matters as much as strategy Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you know how to bring cross-functional partners along without slowing down Comfort navigating a startup within a larger organization, working effectively across both cultures Fluency with AI tools in your own day-to-day work, it is how you operate Track record of driving AI and automation into the products you build Nice-to-Haves: Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or logistics Familiarity with product-led growth strategies and in-product conversion optimization SQL or other data querying skills What Success Looks Like In your first year, you'll know you're succeeding when: Core growth and monetization metrics are moving in the right direction with clear attribution to your initiatives You've shipped meaningful product improvements that carriers notice and value Engineering, design, and go-to-market partners trust you as a strategic collaborator You've developed a point of view on Outgo's biggest growth opportunities and a plan to go after them Why DAT? We have a time-tested and resolute set of operating values predicated on integrity, mutual respect, open communication, and executing with excellence.
