Advanced Maintenance Technician (CNC & Automated Systems)

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 / hour | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (No regular weekends!)

What You’ll Do

• Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on CNC and automated lines.

• FANUC & Electronics: Diagnose FANUC alarms, servo systems, spindle drives, VFDs, and PLCs.

• Precision Mechanical Rebuilds: Rebuild CNC ball screws, linear guides, spindles, and drawbars.

• Alignments & PMs: Use precision tools (dial indicators, lasers) for machine geometry; log PMs in CMMS.

What We’re Looking For

• Must-Haves: 5–7+ years industrial maintenance experience; strong CNC & FANUC control troubleshooting; electrical mastery up to 480V, PLCs, & schematics; strict LOTO/OSHA compliance.

• Nice-to-Haves: Direct spindle/ball screw rebuild experience; automatic screw machine knowledge; MIG/TIG/Stick welding skills.

• Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and climb in an active plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics & Repair: Perform mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting on screw machines, CNC centers, and automated packaging lines.

• FANUC Controls & Electronics: Troubleshoot FANUC alarms, servo systems, spindle drives, I/O systems, VFDs, and PLC-based systems.

• Precision Mechanical Rebuilds: Diagnose and rebuild CNC ball screws, linear guide systems, spindle assemblies, drawbars, and bearing packs.

• Machine Alignment & Geometry: Use precision instruments (dial indicators, test bars, laser alignment) to conduct machine leveling, axis alignment, and requalification.

• Preventive Maintenance & CMMS: Execute planned preventive/predictive maintenance schedules and log work through our CMMS software.

• Fabrication: Perform light welding (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW) and custom fabrication for equipment repairs when needed.
