Work Study-Library Circulation Desk Student Worker-Fall 2026 Location: Alpine Department: Library General Operations Job Number: SF9956 Posting Date: 05/26/2026 Appointment Date: Not specified Salary: $9.50 hourly Primary Responsibilities: Assist library patrons of all ages with informational and computer help. Shelve materials and maintain stacks. Answer the telephone and handle routine inquiries. Perform cash handling, check‑in and check‑out of library materials. Engage in daily and weekly cleaning duties and building security. Follow designated work hours: Monday–Thursday 8‑9 pm, Friday 8‑5 pm, Sunday 12‑9 pm. Adhere to library dress code and lift up to 20 lbs. Required Qualifications: Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System, alphabetization, and change making. Pass a proficiency quiz with 100 % score upon verification of work‑study funding. Work‑study eligibility. Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
