The successful candidate will be a distinguished and collaborative physician leader, responsible for guiding a highly specialized team of solid tumor medical oncologists and hematologists. This role is pivotal in advancing a unified strategy for exceptional patient care, innovative research, and education within the cancer enterprise. The Chief will work in close partnership with the Division of Malignant Hematology/Cellular Therapy and Transplantation, and will be expected to shape a strategic vision that expands the Division's research impact, clinical operations, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical oncology, with a focus on both clinical and research leadership, and will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment that promotes clinical excellence, scientific innovation, education, and faculty development. Candidates for the Chief position must be board-certified in medical oncology, have completed ACGME-accredited training, and have a track record of achievements that merit associate professor or professor rank. The role requires a leader who can cultivate a collaborative environment, advance clinical excellence, and strengthen partnerships within the cancer center. The Chief will be at the forefront of a rapidly evolving Division, with a focus on precision, patient-centered care, and a commitment to scholarly advancement and education. The position is within a leading medical school and a multibillion-dollar health system, with a strong emphasis on translating scientific discoveries into improved patient care. The Chief will be expected to lead a large faculty and staff team, and to be a driving force in the Division's clinical and research activities.
