Join The University of Vermont Medical Center as an Experienced Sterile Processing Technician on the night shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) . We're seeking experienced SPD professionals with hospital-based sterile processing experience and strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterilization practices, and infection prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments
• Operate sterilization and washer equipment
• Maintain instrument tracking and inventory systems
• Support OR and procedural areas with timely instrument delivery
• Follow infection prevention and quality standards

Requirements

• Hospital-based Sterile Processing/Central Sterile experience required
• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique
• Eligible to obtain and maintain CRCST certification as a condition of employment
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-Time Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Pay Range: $22.28 to $35.10/hour, based on experience
• Shift Differentials: Evening +$2.75/hour | Night +$6.50/hour | Weekend +$3.50/hour
