FY26 - Tax Senior Services Manager - Financial Services-Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - EDGE Location: New York Other locations: Anywhere in Country Date: May 7, 2026 Requisition ID: 1699388 The opportunity Our EY EDGE practice focuses on US and global tax information reporting and withholding matters. You will work in a team across financial services sectors to deliver support throughout the customer tax operations lifecycle, including non-resident alien withholding, FATCA, domestic withholding, and non-US indirect taxes such as foreign transaction taxes, stamp duty, and value-added taxes. Your key responsibilities Serve as lead of tax operations team and action all escalations related to data preparation, aggregation, report submission, and filings. Manage operations team, directing day‑to‑day client interactions, reviewing key performance indicators, and ensuring delivery meets deadlines and expectations. Oversee team work, progress reporting, workload, quality, and utilization distribution. Provide visibility to leadership on status, issues, or situations that need addressing. Ensure consistent and standardized processes and procedures are implemented and coordinate training as needed. Support client internal and external audits by providing documentation of current processes. Produce and analyze KRIs and KPIs to evidence performance and drive efficiencies. Manage service quality, engagement risk, and opportunity for all engagements. Review financials to ensure work is accomplished on budget and manage client billable hours. Leverage standard technologies and processes to improve deliverable quality and efficiency. Co‑ordinate and coach tax professionals, participating in their performance management. Skills and attributes for success Provide leadership, advising peers and coordinating daily activities across complex workstreams, often leading multiple engagements. Work independently with leadership guidance only in the most complex situations, making significant choices and decisions without specific direction. To qualify for the role you must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics. Minimum of 8+ years of operational delivery experience. CPA, EA, or licensed attorney. Ability to prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data analysis skills. Ability to draft business requirements, process flow diagrams, and rules matrices. Experience in change management, operations, and process improvement. Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to develop employees. Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and tax accounting systems. Ideally, you’ll also have Strong operations skills; tax technical skills are a plus. Experience managing a production line team. Compensation and benefits Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $127,900 to $291,900 in the US; $153,400 to $331,700 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Additional benefits include medical, dental, pension, 401(k), and paid time off. Hybrid work model with 60% in‑office expectation for most external roles.
