Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical evaluations to assess residents' range of motion, strength, balance, gait patterns, and functional limitations on a regular basis.

• Guide residents in proper walking techniques, including the use of assistive devices such as canes or walkers, and educate them on fall prevention methods.

• Support residents in their activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and transferring, ensuring they can maintain independence or receive minimal assistance.

• Instruct both residents and their caregivers on exercise regimens, home exercise programs, and safety strategies to foster well-being and recovery.

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records encompassing progress notes, treatment plans, and ongoing functional assessments to track patient progress and inform future care decisions.

You will encounter a range of conditions prevalent in an aging population, including mobility impairments, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Master's/Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
