Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for weekend home care services. Role & Responsibilities Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, shaving, hair, and mouth care. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision. Prepare meals, considering client preferences and special diets. Offer companionship and engaging activities tailored to individual needs. Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records. Report changes in patient's condition and document tasks via EVV app. Adhere to Plan of Care and uphold patient confidentiality and rights. Notify supervisors of any concerns or abuse suspicions. Assist clients in maintaining independence within their abilities. Qualifications & Skills Current certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow directions. Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing. Sympathetic attitude toward patient care. Key Duties & Equipment Provide direct patient care in clients' homes, often involving physical and emotional support. Use equipment like blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, and transportation tools. Travel within designated areas to fulfill assignments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
