Additive Manufacturing Technician

Additive Manufacturing Technician (SLS & EBM)As a skilled Additive Manufacturing Technician with hands-on experience in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and Electron Beam Melting (EBM) you will support production of orthopedic and implantable medical devices. This role is responsible for operating powder-bed fusion systems, ensuring consistent part quality, and maintaining compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient availability of materials to meet patient and healthcare provider needs. You will be responsible for production, managing inventory levels, and overseeing machine operations.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor SLS systems such as the EOS P110Prepare and verify build files using EOSPRINT or equivalent softwarePerform powder handling, sieving, blending, and material refresh managementConduct depowdering and post-processing operationsInspect parts for dimensional accuracy and surface qualityMaintain build logs and material traceability documentationOperate EBM systems such as the Arcam EBM Q10plusLoad and prepare titanium powder under controlled environmentsPerform machine setup including vacuum system checks and beam calibrationConduct powder recovery and recycling proceduresSupport heat treatment and HIP coordinationEnsure lot traceability for implantable componentsIdentify and implement process improvements guided by continuous improvement principlesProvide regular updates and reports on Daily Management boards for KPI'sMaintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.Minimum Basic Qualifications:Associate's degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience handling metal powders (titanium alloys preferred)Understanding of powder-bed fusion process parametersFamiliarity with GD&T and inspection toolsStrong documentation skills in regulated manufacturing environmentsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to management.Detail-oriented mindset and Eager to Learn with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
