Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Inpatient Rehab/Acute Care Unit

Location: Oklahoma

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days with flexible start times based on the unit.

Job Description: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work in an Inpatient Rehab unit or an Acute Care unit. Responsibilities include co-treating with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in acute care settings. The rehab unit averages 12 patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care and support daily activities of living.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation and acute care teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Candidates must have a current COTA license.
• Certification from NBCOT.
• BLS certification from AHA.
• Recent travelers experience preferred; new grads are welcome.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to the specialty.
• Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years.
