Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Granbury, TX 76048 Setting: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care (LDRP) Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Schedule Notes: No call; may include floating within women’s services as needed Patient Ratios: 1:1 labor; 3:1 couplet care Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NRP required AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring preferred STABLE certification preferred Experience circulating C-sections Ability to manage high-risk labor and titrate Pitocin Competency in fetal monitoring interpretation Comfort with neonatal resuscitation and postpartum/couplet care Previous rural hospital or LDRP experience preferred Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality maternity care across labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn services Monitor labor progress and support safe, patient-centered deliveries Assist with and circulate C-sections as needed Interpret fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status Support high-risk labor management and medication titration Participate in neonatal resuscitation and postpartum/couplet care Collaborate with the interdisciplinary women’s services team to deliver excellent patient care Maintain strong documentation and follow unit protocols in a busy maternity care environment Apply now to join this travel nurse opportunity in Granbury, Texas and bring your Labor and Delivery RN expertise to a supportive healthcare team.
