NY Home Euthanasia Veterinarian - 1 day/week for $50,000 with 10 weeks off!

Paws at Peace is hiring home euthanasia veterinarians in NYC! We are hiring a veterinarian to work one day a week (Saturday or Sunday, shifts are ~8 hours) doing home euthanasia in NYC. You will have 10 weeks off and the base pay is $50,000, with production up to approximately $75,000. Your work involves listening to music and podcasts in your car and seeing approximately 3-6 patients per day, helping clients who are grateful and reducing burnout. Highlights Earn $50,000-$75,000 per year 10 weeks off Use company vehicle or your own (reimbursement for mileage) No bagging, tagging or storing bodies – a driver from the crematorium takes them directly after your shifts Supportive team environment Responsibilities Conduct home euthanasia and hospice care for pets in NYC. Provide compassionate bedside manner and client communication. Work 1 day per week (Saturday or Sunday), typically 8-9 hours door‑to‑door. Sight 3-6 patients per day. Drive safely, parallel park as needed, and transport patients to crematorium drivers. Job Requirements Excellent bedside manner and client communication skills. Ability to drive safely and parallel park. Ability to lift up to about 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds with help. Possession of smartphone, laptop or tablet for navigation and medical records; ability to learn new software. Valid driver’s license, NY state veterinary license, DEA license and malpractice insurance. At least 1 year of veterinary experience. Compensation and Benefits Production bonus: up to $75,000 or more. 10 weeks off. Partial reimbursement for veterinary license, DEA license and malpractice insurance. 401k with 4% match.
