Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/22/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n Registered Nurse - PACU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 5x8 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) /n• Block scheduling available with preference for 4x10 schedule /n• No on-call requirements /n• No floating to other floors /n• Must have minimum 2 years of PACU experience /n• Epic charting system experience required /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA certifications required) /n• Must maintain Louisiana nursing license or Compact license /n• NURSYS reports required and must be current within 4 weeks of submission /n• Must live more than 65 miles from facility (based on driver's license address) /n• No call-ins allowed - strict attendance policy /n• May be assigned to Emergency Team during facility emergency events with expectation to stay until event passes /n• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules completed during orientation /n• 2 Manager/Supervisor references required for contract clearance /n• Must be separated from facility for 1 full year if previously employed as permanent staff /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Post-Anesthesia Care Unit providing specialized care for patients recovering from surgical procedures.
