Shop Laborer– Central Phoenix
Colby Welding & Radiator Inc.
Colby Welding & Radiator Inc. has been providing high-quality welding and radiator repair services for the automotive, trucking, industrial, construction, and mining industries since 1997. We are nationally known and locally owned.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $18 – $19 Hourly / Depending on Experience
Job Hours
- 5:00am to 1:30pm - Monday thru Friday / Overtime may apply on occasion
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Disassemble and reassemble cooling components such as Radiators, Charge-air coolers, etc.
- Learn to prep and test radiators
- Cleaning miscellaneous parts and fuel tanks with pressure washer
- Prep material for paint
- Paint material
- Basic shop cleaning
- Other tasks and duties required to support daily objectives as needed
- Chance to learn and advance knowledge
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation and show up for work on time.
- Basic mechanical and hand tool knowledge
- Teamwork is essential along with good time management and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the day
- Previous operating forklift skills a plus
