Corporate Associate AttorneyA premier national law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office.This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and financial institutions in sophisticated mergers & acquisitions and general corporate transactions.Compensation$235,000 – $390,000+Ideal Background• 3–6 years of corporate transactional or M&A experience gained at a sophisticated law firm• Experience representing public companies, privately held companies, private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers, and institutional investors• Experience handling mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, equity financings, and other strategic transactions• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, governance documents, and other corporate transaction documents• Experience conducting legal due diligence, managing transaction workstreams, and coordinating deal teams through closing• Experience advising clients regarding corporate governance and general corporate matters• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills• Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction• Excellent academic credentials• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required• Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admittedWhy This OpportunityPremier national corporate practiceSophisticated domestic and cross-border transactionsSignificant client interaction and deal responsibilityOpportunity to represent leading public companies, private equity sponsors, and high-growth businessesStrong mentorship and professional developmentCollaborative AmLaw 50 environment
