Position Overview

Behavioral services are provided in a variety of settings, including:

• Client homes
• Community settings (daycares, schools, and extracurricular activities)

Position Details

Part-Time Position

Available Working Hours:

• Monday through Saturday
• Approximately 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Compensation

Behavioral Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
• Based on experience, credentials, and performance

Master's-Level RBT

• $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
• Based on experience and qualifications

Master’s-Level Program Supervisor

·         $33 to $40 per hour

·         Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, credentialing status, supervisory responsibilities, and compliance with applicable funding-source requirements.

Job Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Technician or Registered Behavior Technician, you will:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with ASD and related developmental disorders.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed through assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and clinical recommendations.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors.
• Deliver services in home, school, community, and telehealth settings while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Utilize evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Model effective behavioral strategies and interventions for caregivers.
• Encourage caregiver participation and collaboration during treatment.
• Collect accurate behavioral and program data during each treatment session, including:
• • Frequency
  • Duration
  • Latency
  • Time sampling
  • Other prescribed measurement systems
• Upload session data promptly following each session using company systems.
• Obtain caregiver signatures on required documentation and timesheets after each session.
• Respond to company emails and communications within 24 business hours.
• Refer families to the appropriate team members (administrators, schedulers, supervisors, or consultants) when concerns fall outside your scope of practice.
• Maintain availability and consistency with assigned schedules and cases.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
• Possess reliable transportation
• Pass a criminal background screening (Live Scan)
• Pass TB clearance requirements
• Have no major criminal convictions that would prohibit employment in the field
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Current RBT certification
• Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities
• Coursework in psychology, education, child development, ABA, or a related field

Career Opportunities

• Part-Time Positions Available Immediately

o    This position is designed for individuals who are available to work during our primary service hours of 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday . Preference will be given to candidates who can consistently maintain availability during these hours, as most client sessions occur within this timeframe.

• Seasonal Hour Expansion Opportunities
• • Additional client hours may be available during high-demand periods, including Spring Break, Summer Break (late May through early September), and Winter Break.
  • Depending on client needs, scheduling demands, and employee availability, team members may have the opportunity to work up to approximately 30 hours per week during these seasonal periods.
• Temporary Seasonal Positions
• • Individuals seeking short-term employment may apply for temporary positions during Spring Break, Summer Break, and Winter Break.
  • Seasonal employees may be considered for ongoing part-time positions based on business needs, performance, and availability.
• Professional Growth Opportunities
• • Opportunities for advancement to Parent Consultant and/or Program Supervisor roles may be available for qualified employees.
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, demonstrate strong job performance, and meet applicable funding source, training, and credentialing requirements. Examples may include a minimum length of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), completion of relevant coursework, and/or attainment of required professional development units.
  • Advancement is based on qualifications, performance, organizational needs, and successful completion of all applicable training and credentialing requirements.
