Financial Controller

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a meaningful role in the organization’s long‑term financial strategy and operational growth. The role is designed for a motivated finance leader seeking both immediate executive‑level impact and continued professional advancement within the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure compliance with GAAP, statutory reporting requirements, and insurance industry regulations Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities Develop and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and operational initiatives Mentor and develop accounting and finance team members Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and tax advisors Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required CPA designation strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience Insurance industry experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills Experience with ERP systems and financial process improvement initiatives Relocation support will be provided. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oliver James
