Mobile Equipment OperatorWe are looking for a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our Winter Haven, FL plant. As a mobile equipment operator with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.You will be a part of a community that prioritizes not only our customers but also values our dedicated and loyal employees.Why apply?Competitive payMedical and prescription drug coverageDental and vision coverageHealth savings and flexible spending account401(k) with company matchLife insurance and disability coveragePaid vacationPaid holidaysGrowth & Development opportunitiesEmployee DiscountsMental Health through our Employee Assistance ProgramWellness benefits including low-cost gym membershipsAbout the Role:Responsibilities:Operate various types of mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and haul trucks to transport materials within the plant.Load and unload raw materials (e.g., sand, gravel, cement) and finished concrete products.Ensure equipment is operated safely, following all safety guidelines and plant protocols.Perform routine pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or mechanical issues.Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with housekeeping standards.Assist in other plant operations as needed, including production and general labor tasks.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material movement and resolve operational issues.Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.About You:We Require:Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, loaders, etc.).Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.Knowledge of safety practices related to operating heavy machinery.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.About Us:As you explore the career opportunities at Rinker, you'll discover a wide range of positions.
