Senior Auditor or Semi Senior Auditor

Kforce's client, a growing public accounting firm in Quincy, MY, is seeking a Senior Auditor or Semi Senior Auditor to lead client engagements and support audit delivery across multiple industries. This position is hybrid in the Quincy, MA area. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously from planning to completion
• Develop a strong understanding of client operations and financial reporting processes
• Build and maintain client relationships; serve as a key point of contact
• Identify and resolve technical accounting and audit issues
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and audit documentation
• Oversee engagement administration (audit programs, budgets, timelines)
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior audit staff
• Ensure workpapers are complete, accurate, and in compliance with standards
• Communicate project status and deliverables to leadership in a timely manner
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or MBA preferred)
• CPA license or actively pursuing certification strongly preferred
• 3-5+ years of audit experience within public accounting (regional or mid-sized firms preferred)
• Experience working with diverse clients; real estate exposure a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
• Project management and organizational expertise
• Strong analytical and research capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
