Cycle CounterThis inventory-focused role supports a warehouse transition to a new SAP system by performing accurate cycle counts and data entry for all items in stock. The cycle counter verifies current inventory levels and records them in the new SAP software, ensuring data integrity and supporting smooth warehouse operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and comfort working in a warehouse environment, with the ability to begin contributing with minimal training.ResponsibilitiesPerform precise cycle counts for inventory items throughout the warehouse to verify actual stock levels.Accurately enter inventory data into the SAP system to support the transition to the new software platform.Confirm and reconcile inventory quantities to ensure that warehouse records match physical stock.Maintain organized and accurate documentation of counts and adjustments as required.Handle materials and products safely while counting, moving, or organizing inventory.Support inventory control processes by identifying discrepancies and reporting issues to the appropriate team members.Use basic math skills to validate quantities, calculate differences, and confirm totals.Operate computer systems and data entry tools to input, update, and review inventory information.Collaborate with a small warehouse team to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely completion of counting tasks.Follow established warehouse procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.Essential SkillsPrevious warehouse and inventory experience, including cycle counting and inventory control.Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate counting and data entry.Basic math skills to verify quantities and reconcile inventory differences.Basic computer skills for data entry and working within an SAP or similar inventory system.Comfort working in a warehouse environment and handling materials.Ability to start with minimal training and quickly learn specific inventory processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with data entry in an inventory or warehouse setting.Experience in material handling, order picking, shipping, and receiving.Familiarity with cycle counting procedures and inventory control best practices.Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative warehouse team.Why Work Here?Employees benefit from flexible pay evaluations multiple times per year, with opportunities for increases based on performance and demonstrated value. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
