Outside Sales Representative – In-Home Water Treatment

Florida Pure Water Services | Orlando, FL

We Are Looking for an Experienced In-Home Sales Professional

Florida Pure Water Services is looking for an experienced in-home sales representative to join our growing team.

You will meet with homeowners at their homes, perform a water quality evaluation, identify their water problems, present solutions, and close the sale.

We will train you on water treatment and our products. We are NOT looking to train someone how to sell.

You should already know how to:

• Run a professional in-home sales appointment
• Build rapport quickly with homeowners
• Ask effective discovery questions
• Identify the customer's needs and pain points
• Present a solution based on those needs
• Present pricing confidently
• Handle objections
• Ask for the sale
• Close the customer in the home
• Follow up effectively when the customer doesn't buy immediately

What You'll Be Selling

Our representatives help homeowners solve common water problems, including:

• Hard water
• Chlorine and water taste
• Odor
• Iron and sulfur
• Well-water issues
• Whole-home water quality
• Drinking water concerns

You will perform basic water testing, explain the results, and recommend the appropriate water treatment solution.

You do not need previous water-treatment experience. We will train you on the products, equipment, water testing, and our sales process.

Required Experience

Previous in-home sales experience is REQUIRED.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience selling:

• Water treatment
• Solar
• HVAC
• Roofing
• Windows and doors
• Home remodeling
• Flooring
• Pest control
• Security systems
• Generators
• Other in-home or home-improvement products/services

Candidates should have a proven track record of closing sales in the home.

This is not a cold-calling or appointment-setting position. Appointments are provided; your job is to run the appointment and close the business.

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled homeowner appointments
• Conduct a professional in-home consultation
• Perform water testing
• Identify water-quality problems and customer needs
• Present appropriate filtration and water treatment solutions
• Demonstrate products and explain benefits
• Present pricing and financing options
• Overcome objections
• Close sales
• Maintain accurate information in our CRM
• Follow up with unsold opportunities
• Meet individual sales goals and KPIs
• Provide an exceptional customer experience
• Represent Florida Pure Water Services professionally

We are looking for an established in-home salesperson who already understands the fundamentals of professional sales and knows how to close a homeowner in their own home.

If you know how to sell but have never sold water treatment, we can teach you water treatment.

If you've never sold in the home, this probably isn't the right position for you.

Requirements

• Previous in-home sales experience – REQUIRED
• Demonstrated closing experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Smartphone
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends when needed
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to travel to appointments throughout the Orlando area
