Associate IT Project Manager - Solutions Delivery

Job Description Summary Part of the Solutions Delivery team; coordinates resource assignments across portfolios; acts as project lead ensuring projects are resourced per IT project management methodology; provides analytical support to PMO and manages portfolio reporting from intake to execution. Responsibilities 80% – Coordinate small projects for the IS department following the IS PMO methodology; track and monitor project tasks; act as single point of contact; perform regular project reporting activities, communications and documentation. Work collaboratively with assigned IS resources to ensure project tasks are completed with effective communication throughout the life cycle. 20% – Support PMO project portfolio analysis and maintenance; create and distribute PMO portfolio reports. Act as a High Reliability Organization (HRO) focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. 3 to 4 years of experience in Project Management. Intermediate to advanced level of MS Project, Word, and Excel; familiarity with project management concepts and practices. Familiarity with process improvement disciplines. Ability to extract project data and create visual aids using MS PowerPoint, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, and/or Visio. Experience working in an analytical staff position in business, finance, or healthcare administration. Experience working on IS projects preferred. Strong experience working on teams. Degree or equivalent experience; field of study: Healthcare and/or Business. Work Shift Day scheduled. Weekly hours: 40.
