Line Haul Driver

The Line Haul Driver handles the accurate and timely pickup of backhauls. They drive 4- or 5-day routes between McLane distribution centers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate a tractor trailer to convey products between McLane distribution centers -- bump the dock or drop & hook trailers. Inspect your vehicle for defects pre- and post-trip and submit inspection report. Maintain driver log (manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations. Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: WORK SAFE HOME SAFE is one of our mottos at McLane Company. Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience. Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
