Pharmacist – Director

West Plains, Missouri Pay From: $67.00 per hour

MUST: Experienced Pharmacist - Director Must have an active and good standing Pharmacist license in Missouri Must hold Medication Therapy Services certification Must hold an active Pharmacy Consultant license Must have 3 plus years of manager experience Must have Inpatient pharmacy experience

DUTIES: Pharmacy Director will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Manage pharmacist schedule
• Manage Total Joint Commission prep
• Ensuring regulatory compliance
• Work with operations coordinator to implement clinical initiatives
• Assist with fill orders
• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations, including medication procurement, storage, distribution, and sterile compounding, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Manage IV prep
• Participating in quality improvement projects, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency
• Assist with new order entry overseeing the clinical operations and staff within the pharmacy department, ensuring the provision of safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical care
