Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Operator with a valid CDL to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery and equipment. If you have a passion for working with equipment and enjoy being part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and equipment status.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
