Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Active Secret What You Will Do Assist with data ingestion into Databricks, data transfer from Databricks into Palantir's Ontology, and front-end development tasks. Review JPE data sources and source additional data, support ingestion of JPE data into a structured format for API development, and contribute to making data available in a standard, easy‑to‑access manner. Support management of a centralized repository of meaning, relationships to other data, origin, usage, format, and metadata for the JPE data set. Administer data topics, data structure, and employment of best practices. Participate in working groups and meetings, contributing to metadata requirements and data structure modeling discussions. Contribute to GBFMD equities presentations to USTRANSCOM, JS, and OSD governance boards as needed. Prepare deliverables per contract Performance Work Statement requirements, including weekly/monthly status reports, meeting minutes, trip reports, letters, memoranda, briefings, presentations, and reports. Complete ad hoc projects assigned by the Division Chief, Branch Chief, and Program Manager. What You Will Need Active and maintained "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance. Once onboard, new hire must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" clearance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. One (1) or more years of experience in Python development. Familiarity with databases and data structures. Understanding of data management and engineering best practices. Experience working in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure). Ability to travel within CONUS, approximately 10% of the time. What Would Be Nice To Have Experience with Databricks (Advana). Experience working with Python data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). Familiarity with API development. Experience working with Maven Smart Systems or similar platforms. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment and learn technical concepts quickly. Experience working with DoD, DLA, or USTRANSCOM. The annual salary range for this position is $68,000.00–$113,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
