Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Podiatrist to join our mobile care team in Charleston , SC . This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.

All administrative and logistical responsibilities-including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing-are fully managed by CMC. This is an independent contractor position, allowing you to focus on patient care without the burdens of running a private practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine foot care, wound care, and treatment for diabetic-related complications.
• Diagnose and manage podiatric conditions commonly affecting geriatric patients.
• Educate patients and/or facility staff on preventive care and condition management.
• Ensure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needs.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
• Active state podiatry license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diabetic foot care and wound management best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings.

Schedule:

• 1-2 visits per month
• Weekday availability preferred, flexible schedule
• Typical hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation:

• $700 - $800 per visit (per day)
