Warehouse Operative This is a 24‑month temporary contract with the opportunity to transfer onto a permanent contract. Salary: £24,187.50 (£12.40ph) plus shift premium for working the afternoon shift. Working hours: 37.5 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, with regular weekend overtime available, subject to business needs. Shift patterns: Days: 6:45am – 2:45pm Afternoons: 3:00pm – 11:00pm Responsibilities Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimise warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations. Follow all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures. Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet business goals. Qualifications Experience in warehouse operations using warehousing tools, systems and methodologies. Ability to receive, pick, pack and ship a variation of Cummins product. Good written and oral communication skills. Works well within a team and across several business unit teams.
