Job Title: Travel RN - Pediatric Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current Pediatric Emergency Department RN experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS NIH PALS TNCC ENPC (PALS will be accepted in lieu of ENPC) Must-Have: Candidates must have the specified certifications and minimum experience to be considered for this role. Description: This position is for a travel Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Emergency Department. The unit consists of 23 beds and has 45 staff members. The typical patient ratios are 4:1, increasing to 5:1 during surge conditions. Common procedures performed include port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal washes, point of care testing with a glucometer, EKGs, and Foley placements. Caring, competent, and communicative individuals are ideal candidates. The work environment is supportive and focused on teamwork.
