Veterinary Assistant

Dermatology for Animals is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Goodyear, AZ.

You'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for patients with dermatologic needs. Your life-changing work will range from hands-on support with skin treatments, diagnostics and laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant (direct patient care)

• Superior/advanced interpersonal skills

• Has anesthesia experience

• Possesses a positive work attitude

• Self-motivated

• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $17 – $19 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
