Our client is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer in Charlotte, NC to serve as their senior technical authority. In this dynamic role, you will provide critical design oversight and technical guidance from initial concept through full execution, utilizing your extensive industry expertise to mentor teams and ensure top-tier project delivery.

responsibilities:

• Serve as the senior technical authority for structural engineering, leading the design and review of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and foundation systems.

• Review and approve complex structural calculations, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables while ensuring strict compliance with industry codes.

• Provide technical leadership and resolve intricate design challenges throughout the FEL/FEED, detailed design, and full EPC execution phases.

• Mentor junior engineers to support technical development across the organization while interfacing directly with clients as a trusted advisor.

• Coordinate seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery, including supporting site walkdowns and constructability reviews.
