In this role, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Join a supportive team and make a lasting difference in the lives of students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.Job HighlightsPosition: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Setting: School-based and educational environmentsLocation: Yelm WashingtonCollaborative role supporting students, staff, and familiesOpportunities to supervise RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior techniciansResponsibilitiesConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in accordance with applicable state, district, and professional guidelinesDevelop evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student IEPs and educational goalsDesign ABA-based programs targeting communication, adaptive skills, social-emotional development, and positive behaviorTrain, coach, and supervise RBTs, paraeducators, and behavior techniciansSupport staff in implementing behavior plans with consistency and fidelityEstablish data-collection systems, analyze student progress, and adjust interventions based on outcomesCollaborate with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, administrators, families, and other members of the educational teamParticipate in IEP meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary planningMaintain accurate assessments, progress reports, treatment documentation, and supervision recordsFollow the BACB Ethics Code and all applicable state, district, and agency policiesQualificationsActive BCBA certification in good standingExperience conducting FBAs and developing ABA-based behavior interventionsStrong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively across diverse school environments and student populationsAbility to meet applicable Washington State and school-district requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience working in Washington public schools or early-intervention programsFamiliarity with Washington State IEP processes and multi-tiered systems of supportPrevious experience supervising RBTs, paraeducators, or behavior techniciansExperience supporting students with autism, developmental disabilities, or significant behavioral needsWhy Join Us?Ampersand Therapy offers a supportive, transparent employment experience designed with school-based professionals in mind.
