Job Opportunity

Duration: 6+ months contract, with potential conversion to full-time, based on performance and client need. Location Type: Onsite - 5 days/week in Overland Park, KS - Ann Arbor, MI - Cary, NC - Denver, CO - Houston, TX - Phoenix, AZ (specify worker location on submittal) Compensation Range: $40- $46/HR Medical, Dental and Vision benefits are made available after 90 days.

Position Summary

This opportunity with Client offers the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Power Providers Market Sector, supporting Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects and building critical infrastructure for today's and tomorrow's challenges. Civil professionals contribute to site development efforts, including grading and drainage, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities. The Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Staff Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects.

Description

Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying site development plans using advanced techniques in industry-standard design tools, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, and Bentley OpenPlant Modeler.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Education: Diploma or Certificate required. Associate or Bachelors Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred. Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
