Surgical Technician

About this role


Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Surgical Technician (Operating Room) to work in a medical center located in Sylmar, CA. Candidates will need a minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in an operating room setting at a successful Level I Trauma Institution in a metropolitan environment. STs must be skilled in circulating and assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, demonstrating a thorough understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols across multiple specialties. STs must be adaptable, able to anticipate surgical team needs, and capable of providing support in both complex and routine procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room.



Pay Rate : $40/hr | 40 hours per week


This position follows an Alternative Workweek schedule. Under this arrangement, daily overtime is applicable only after 12 hours worked in a day.



Contract Length : 8 weeks



Location : Sylmar, CA



Requirements :

• Active Surgical Technician Certification
• AHA BLS
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
