Materials Management Associate I, MSN
$21 - $24 per hourAbbott
Entry-level materials management role supporting inventory control, shipping, receiving, and restocking at Abbott's Madison facility. Position involves basic materials handling, equipment operation, and compliance with GMP and hazardous materials regulations under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials according to procedures and compliance requirements
- Operate forklifts, electric jacks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment
- Fulfill internal material requests and restock lab supplies to designated areas
- Process outbound shipments with DOT and IATA hazardous materials compliance documentation
- Maintain inventory records and support SAP/EWM data entry; escalate discrepancies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 1+ years materials handling experience, or associate degree in logistics
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain
- Authorized to work in United States without sponsorship
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Compensation: $21/hr - $24/hr
