We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week contract assignment at a healthcare facility. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech-language pathology treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize rehabilitation outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriate
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life

Requirements

• Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Required: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
