Physical Therapist
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a travel contract position in Rainsville, Alabama. This role involves working in various counties including Jackson and DeKalb, providing crucial therapy services to patients based on physician referrals. Key responsibilities of the Physical Therapist include:
- Perform physical therapy evaluation and treatment based on physician orders/referrals
- Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate tools and procedures
- Review patient records for diagnosis, medical history, and applicable precautions
- Develop measurable goals and treatment plans for patient independence
- Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and patient progress
- Communicate patient needs and progress with the treatment team and family
- Consult medical providers regarding evaluation, treatment, and discharge plans
- Recommend adaptive equipment and incorporate it into rehab programs
- Maintain and submit documentation according to company and regulatory standards
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care activities
- Participate in staff development and maintain clinical skills
Requirements of the Physical Therapist include:
- Alabama PT licensure
- Experience with Oasis, HCHB, and Home Health
