Website: Job Description and Duties: Under the general direction of the Chief Physician & Surgeon, Correctional Facility (CF), the Physician & Surgeon, CF (Internal Medicine / Family Practice) provides medical care to patients in a correctional facility. Responsibilities include performing medical assessments, providing medical treatment to assigned patients as appropriate and authorized by the medical license, offering clinical consultation to midlevel providers and other staff, instructing nursing and other clinical staff on medical protocols, and adhering to professional medical standards of care. The position includes on‑call duties. Base salary is subject to Section 5 hiring‑above‑minimum (HAM) authorization, with authorized HAM rates of P $26,677, Q $28,156, and R $29,640. Employees physically located and assigned to the state corrections facility receive a pay differential equal to 15% of their monthly base pay.
