Quality Manager

Advance Services is hiring a Quality Supervisor / Quality Systems Lead to support Katecho's manufacturing operations by leading quality system efforts and supervising quality personnel on the production floor to drive continuous improvement and ensure product inspections are completed accurately and on time.

Essential Job Duties:

• Lead the Quality team by example with a focus on performance, quality, dependability, and communication.
• Support and improve the quality system through daily monitoring of production operations and adherence to ISO 13485 and FDA QSR (21 CFR Part 820).
• Work cross-functionally to identify root causes and resolve product quality issues.
• Supervise Quality personnel in manufacturing areas, including: Inspection Staff, Receiving Staff, Test Lab Staff, Production-floor support areas (Heat seal, Sampling, Receiving).
• Ensure inspections are completed timely and accurately per quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Expedite workflow and make decisions regarding inspection and inspection plans.
• Support staffing, training, employee development, and performance management in coordination with HR.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Authority / Responsibility:

• May shut down manufacturing processes or quarantine product for quality-related issues.
• May delegate work, supervise, and administer discipline in accordance with company policy (in coordination with HR).
• Must complete a Non-Compete Agreement and Patent Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervision or management experience.
• Ability to lead, influence, coach, and train employees.
• Strong integrity, dependability, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve in fast-paced production environments.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to read/write English and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience/training in manufacturing systems (production flow, troubleshooting).
• ASQ certification and/or Green Belt certification (preferred within 1 year of hire).
• Lean manufacturing experience or knowledge.

Work Environment:

• Large open production area with multiple production lines, machinery, and measuring equipment.
• Work may involve business attire and interaction with electrical/measuring equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and work on a computer.
• Must have close and distance vision (reasonable accommodations may be available).
