Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Inpatient

Join our team as a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in an inpatient setting, where you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
• Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment education.
• Document patient progress accurately and report changes to the supervising occupational therapist.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to continue therapy at home.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in hospitals or rehabilitation centers where COTAs work closely with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or illnesses.
