Availability to attend practices, games, and other team-related events, including evenings and weekends as required. Summary August 19, 2026 Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Track & Field Coach. A Coach is responsible for overseeing the development and success of student-athletes or participants in a specific athletic or activity program. This role includes planning and conducting practice sessions, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. The Coach collaborates with other staff, maintains communication with parents, and supports the academic and personal growth of students. Additional duties may include assisting with team selection, managing equipment, organizing events or competitions, and representing the program within the school and community. Position Athletic or Activity Track & Field Rate of Pay $4,877 stipend for each Season Schedule (Approximately) Spring Sports Seasons Seasonal - Based upon Activity Variable Benefits for this position are limited due to the limited and variable nature of the role. Benefits may be adjusted as the role becomes a long-term position.
