Chief Financial Officer

the client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key strategic leader for driving financial performance, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability. the CFO will report to the CEO and oversee all financial operations, leading strategic financial initiatives that may include debt consolidation, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (MandA), and the management of banking relationships. this role is expected to support operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the securing of financial resources to enable growth. the ideal candidate will be an experienced financial leader with a strong background in multi-location operations, preferably within food service or hospitality. the role requires deep expertise in capital structuring, debt management, banking negotiations, and MandA transactions, with a hands-on approach to both financial and operational challenges. bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to engage effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including lenders, investors, and business partners. the CFO will develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives, including identifying and evaluating MandA opportunities and providing financial insights to the CEO and executive leadership. responsibilities also include overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for multi-location operations; ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting; managing cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; and directing capital allocation to maximize financial returns. the CFO will lead banking and debt negotiations, support debt consolidation and refinancing strategies, monitor compliance with loan covenants and credit agreements, and supervise accounting and financial operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
